Nestled at the foot of the French Alps, our recent stay at a charming chateau near the entrance to the Bauges National Park provided a unique blend of traditional charm and modern comfort. The daily breakfast beside the fireplace added a cozy touch to our mornings, while the complimentary wireless internet access kept us connected to the outside world.The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with the manager's attentiveness shining through despite being understaffed. The pool area, though pleasant, could benefit from some refurbishment to reach its full potential. Housekeeping was diligent, providing a welcoming environment after a day of exploring.The tranquil surroundings offered a peaceful escape, with great views of the valley from the well-positioned loungers. While minor improvements could elevate the experience, the genuine hospitality and picturesque setting made our stay a memorable one.
